in cities throughout Central Oregon
Under the banner phrase “Love is Action” I Heart Central Oregon is a non-profit event in September 2010 designed to ignite acts of service throughout the Central Oregon area. Since 2007, The Heart Campaign has partnered with over 70 churches to organize separate service efforts and concert events in local Central Oregon cities including Bend, Sisters, Prineville, LaPine, Burns, Madras and Redmond. I Heart Central Oregon will be the culmination of these events.
Throughout the day, thousands of volunteers in the cities of Central Oregon will serve their communities through various service projects. At 7pm, thousands more will gather for a concert commemorating the day of service through music, inspirational speaking and multimedia showcase from each city.

Born in 1982 in Melbourne, Australia, without any medical explanation or warning, Nick Vujicic (pronounced Voy-a-chich) came into the world with neither arms or legs.
As Nick grew up he learned to deal with his disability. As time went by Nick began to embrace his situation and achieve remarkable things. According to Nick the victory over his struggles, as well as the strength and passion he has for life can be credited to his faith, his family and the many friends he has made throughout his life.
Sharing his story with millions of people around the world, Nick speaks to a range of different groups such as students, teachers, youth, businessmen and women, entrepreneurs, and church congregations of all sizes. This year alone Nick is set to speak in over 20 countries. Through Nick’s speaking, people of all ages and backgrounds are learning how to overcome adversity and persevere under any circumstance. Since 2007 the members of Elliot have played a large role in the formation of The Heart Campaign. A five-piece band from Bend, Oregon, Elliot plays energetic, acoustic rock music with a heart for social justice and a desire to see positive change in communities where they play.
In addition to their growing commercial success throughout the Northwest, Elliot’s songs are being used in national campaigns by organizations such as TOMS Shoes and World Relief Next. Their gospel song "The Beauty of the Cross" appeared on the Catalyst Music Project and was featured at the Catalyst Conference, currently the largest gathering of young leaders in the United States.
